Many times movies teach us lessons that are hidden from us and I try to come up with those movies’ reviews, and interpretations. Today we are here with yet another classical King Kong movie. In this classical movie, it is shown that Kong was the King of the whole island named “Skull Island”, and the natives used to worship him. They thought of him as a protector and used to offer him human sacrifice to make him happy. He had a luxurious King sized life until he met Ann, the girl who was given to him as a human sacrifice once by the natives.
When Kong took Ann to the mountains she wakes up and tried to run away which made him angry but till now Ann has realized that if he intended to harm her, he would have done so at the beginning itself or eaten her. She tried to do juggling and impressed him but after she got tired and stopped Kong was not happy to see her stop. He treated her like a doll whose key once turned on shows acts.
Ann was successful in escaping and was approached by three dinosaurs ready to eat her. Kong comes by and Ann takes King Kong’s shelter. King risking his life saves Ann and this is the time Ann realizes that King could have left her to die but he saved her. She also realizes that he was angry with her as she tried to escape.
King Kong took Ann to the mountains where she slept in Kong’s hand. King also didn’t try to wake her up and till that time Jack(her lover) arrives to find Ann. Jack wakes Ann and tells her to go with him but the king got angry again. King fighting with bats gets busy and they both run. Carl knew that the king will come for Ann. So, he waited. Jack and Ann cross the huge gate but this time Kong also crosses it, Kong was being waited by Carl and other men with chloroform bottles to capture him and he gets captured and taken up to the city.
In the city, Carl organizes a big show. He prepares an exhibition for King Kong. Carl says how this beast is in the control of a lady. When a girl looking like Ann was taken to the king, he gets angry and tries to break the chain and frees himself. In the city, Kong was finding Ann and picking up girls looking like Ann from the streets on his hand to check if it was Ann or not. And finally, Jack leads him to Ann.
King Kong dances on the ice with Ann in hand is shown. When the army arrives Kong climbs the tallest building in the city. She tells the plane pilots to stop but they shot Kong from behind and he falls from this 100 storied building. Carl says “Oh, no, it wasn’t the airplanes. It was beauty killed the beast.”
Lessons to learn from this movie, Kong: King of the Jungle
Never leave your safe zone for a woman or else you will have to face consequences, if King Kong would have not crossed the gate for Ann, he must have been safe.
Never simp or become a side guy as she loved Jack and Kong was being used by her.
Humans cannot be trusted and Dogs are Man’s best friend to point out some.
Please do comment the points I missed. I will come up with a new post soon. Till then Peace out!!
