“I just have zero straight men in my life, unless they’re a romantic interest. In the hierarchy of needs, that’s at the top of the pyramid, which is nice.” – Emily Ratajkowski

In an interview with Elle UK, Emily said that men are mere tools to perform some purpose for her; if they don’t serve her purpose, they are thrown out of her life, which has been happening from the past, where men were merely pawns who served women. Men were and are treated like second-class citizens, which is not good, whether going to war or doing dangerous, risky jobs like electricians, firefighters, or miners. It should not be the case that being a feminist only happens when it’s convenient. Before we dig deeper, we must understand Briffault’s Law.

Must Read: Female Hierarchy of Needs

Briffault’s Law (No value, no relationship)

The basic principle of Briffault’s Law is that women tend to be more particular in their partner selection because they prioritize providing for their children and themselves. This point of view says that women are more inclined to get into and continue relationships with males who give them perceived value, whether in the form of money, status in society, emotional support, or other advantages.

So, to be in a relationship with a modern-day woman, you must be useful to her.

Chris Rock’s famous quote: “Only women, children & dogs are loved unconditionally. A man is only loved under the condition that he provides something,” explains Briffault’s Law the best.

Which I have covered in my old post, A Deep Dive Into “Every Single Girl’s Motivation” to Predict Her Behavior.

In the same interview, she said, ‘Not centring men is really wonderful.’ This relates to Solipsism, which is a general women chaharcteristic. In this, she thinks that the world(others) revolves around her.

Solipsism (Her feelings are her reality)

So, in the case of solipsism, the other person’s feelings are non-existent, but her feelings are her reality. According to her, the other person’s feelings are illusions created in their mind or speculative and hypothetical. She thinks that the world(others) revolves around her.
