Matrimony is a Market and A man is a product

Everyone knows what a “dowry” is: “A dowry is a transfer of parental property, gifts, property or money upon the marriage of a daughter (bride).” We all know that this transfer is from the family of the bride over to the groom. Pretty good deal for the male, right? But not so many people know of something called “bride price” (or “dower”), which is the opposite; it is a transfer of valuables from the family of the groom to the bride. In judging which sex has it better or worse, it all depends on the facts we know vs the facts we do not know about matrimony.

No doubt the DOWRY system is bad, but consider the feminist hypocrisy that’s hidden from us.

Today I coined the term, “BOWRY”. By BOWRY I mean the BOY’S own. That is the boy’s and his ancestral properties which a girl and her father see in the boy before the girl’s marriage to the boy.

A few examples of this gold-digging mentality are listed below:

NICE CAR in the Matrimony Market

These days the girl and her family want a guy who already owns a nice car. That way the girl doesn’t need to face any problems just after marriage.

6 DIGIT SALARY AND A STABLE JOB in the Matrimony Market

In India, it’s called a Sarkari Naukari i.e. a government job, which is a job that’s high-paying and stable. Many boys who otherwise would not even be considered, become very sought after if they have such a job. Such boys just throw their government job in front of the girls to get almost any girl they want.

Here’s the meme presented in pictures that make it all very clear:-

RESPONSIBILITIES in the Matrimony Market

Is chivalry dead?

No. Owing to chivalry women still tend to have rights without responsibilities (the right to vote without the responsibility to defend that right out on the battlefield). In this, and in many other ways, men have become second-class citizens who need to cater to the needs of a woman and the family. Is this equality?

Even if an Indian wife earns money, ultimately, the financial responsibilities still fall to the husband.

Father's love is not less than a mother's sometimes even more substantial

Feminists are hypocritical to demand female-only “equality.” That is “equality” that women are allowed to “cherry-pick,” taking only what benefits them and leaving the rest to men.

GRAND MARRIAGE in the Matrimony Market

To be honest this is demanded by the boy’s side which is just a day’s thing. According to my point of view, that money should be saved for the couple to help them in the future.

HOUSE in the Matrimony Market

As I mentioned, if the boy has a house and other ancestral properties he is the one who will be chosen.

6FT HEIGHT in the Matrimony Market

On the one hand, feminists decry having to live up to beauty “standards.” On the other hand, women say they want a 6ft tall guy. Hypocritical, isn’t it?

CRPC125

Men have to pay even divorced women, even women caught in adultery. Does any country have such laws? When modern-day marriage feminists advocate for equal partnership, why does such a law exist in the law book?? We have to abolish CRPC125, as wives are no longer property or asset, or commodity of Husbands in modern days marriage. (Point added by Swarup Sarkar)

Jobless not ground to deny Maintenance by Husband, but Jobless a Ground to claims Maintenance for wives? (Point added by Swarup Sarkar)
