The court granted Hao (dummy name) divorce from his wife, Xuan, as she refused to go intimate with him, Taiwan television station SETN reported.
The wife in this case didn’t want a divorce but the court ruled that the husband was going through emotional abuse. The wife also humiliated the husband in front of their relatives, calling him ‘too fat’ and ‘incompetent’.
Another point to note is that in 2021 Hao filed for divorce but Xuan promised to improve their relationship and in return, Hao took the case back and transferred their property to Xuan’s name.
The couple got married in 2014, and have two children. Hao stated that they used to get intimate only once a month in 2017 to zero in 2019 without any reason given by Xuan.

In this case, the wife charged her husband $60 for the same in addition to that she had also set fees for chat and meals. The reason she gave was that her truck driver husband was not contributing financially in the family.
The children followed the mother and demanded money from the father to talk to them.
To resolve the issue this couple went to the police station and the man agreed to pay US $600 per month.
In 2023 Taiwan’s divorce rate was 0.218% which is among the highest in Asia.

The husband claimed US$15,000 from his wife in court which the court rejected.
