An October 2015 article (written for the magazine) for Vanity Fair, titled Rihanna in Cuba: The Cover Story by Lisa Robinson, may be a bit old, but it talks about how men are counted for a purpose or use. According to that article, Rihanna says, “They think being a real man is actually being a pu**y, that if you take a chair out for a lady, or you’re nice or even affectionate to your girl in front of your boys, you’re less of a man. It’s so sick. They won’t be a gentleman because that makes them appear soft. That’s what we’re dealing with now, a hundred percent, and girls are settling for that, but I won’t. I will wait forever if I have to … but that’s O.K. You have to be screwed over enough times to know, but now I’m hoping for more than these guys can actually give.”

Masculinity is not for women to define. Just like the comedian, Jeff Foxworthy, in his routine skit says, “You might be a redneck if…,” well you might be a white/knight s*mp if you:
Open a door for a woman and have her go first (e.g., ladies first); It should be first come, first served.
Do not expect a woman to pay on a date; The bill should be equally split.
Do not insist that a woman equally makes the initial approach in the social/dating scene. In the dating scene, both are equally important consenting adults, so anyone can approach.
Protect a woman over a man; Whoever is right needs to be protected.
Favor women in an argument whether she’s right or not; There should be no favor; truth should win.
Cater to her selfish demands (e.g., Happy wife, happy life); Both husband and wife should be happy in a relationship.
Give a woman a lesser sentence than a man for the same cr*me committed; Equal sentence for equal cr*me should be given regardless of gender.
Routinely give mothers custody over fathers; 50-50 shared parenting should be there, as a father is not just an ATM or a visitor; children need both parents.
Cheat men in divorce settlements, allocating alimony and child support; Justice should be objective/blind without any corruption or bribery.
Allow women to get away with mu*der, especially if it’s of a man; Equal sentence for equal crime should be given regardless of gender.
Pander to women’s false allegations (due to their pedestal status, believe all women); Punish anyone only if there is valid evidence, not on the mere allegations. Women should not be considered the victims or men the perpetrators of cr*me by default on mere allegations.
Make subjective laws that work at women’s discretion at the expense of men–e.g., VAWA, Title IX, R*pe Shield Laws; Laws should be Gender Neutral.

You can’t blame feminism for most of this but a female bias, commonly referred to as chivalry, rooted in our culture. A legitimate men’s equality effort opposes all this just as it has from the start.
