Shiva and Shakti symbolize male and female equality

A representation of the equality of men and women is Shiva and Shakti. Seven Shiva Secrets, In this book, it is demonstrated through numerous stories and instances that God and nature have always regarded men and women as being on an equal footing. A clear illustration of this is the Ardhanarishvara form of Shiva and Shakti.

World balance results from human and natural equality.

The creation can only function properly when man(Human) and nature are in harmony. The Shivling, a representation of Shiva and Shakti, has this as its goal. Shiva represents Purusha, and Parvati represents nature. No task of creation can be effectively finished if Purusha and Prakriti (Parvati) are out of balance. Shiva communicates this idea to his followers via Shivling. South India also has a temple where Shiva and Shakti are wed in addition to the Baba Vaidyanathdham Temple in Deoghar. Prior to marriage, both are shown to be masters of their minds. Shakti renounces her Bhairavi form and assumes the same domestic form as Shiva. In this manner, Bhairavi Lalita becomes Shiva, and Shiva becomes Shankar. In this matrimonial relationship, there is no winner or victor. Both have complete authority over each other, which is regarded as love.

Both have equal rights and authority.

According to Shiva, every man and woman has their own autonomous world or subjective being. Understanding their emotions is crucial because they view the world differently and behave differently as a result. There is a myth that Bhringi, a Shiva disciple, stated his intention to circle Parvati after their marriage. Then Shiva answered that since Shakti is a necessary component of who I am, you will also need to circle her. Bhringi was not ready for it. And tried getting between the God and the Goddess. The goddess sits on Shiva’s thigh on this, preventing her from performing this task. Bhringi, disguised as a bumblebee, wishes to complete Shiva’s circumambulation by passing between their necks. Then Shiva fused his body with Shakti’s. He is now Ardhanarishvara. Such deities, whose half-body is that of a woman. Bhringi could no longer move between the two. Shiva says that a man cannot be complete unless he accepts the power of a woman by making Shakti half of his body. Even Shiva is beyond reach. Shiva can only be attained through Devi.

Do not accept the difference between the two

Shiva is the link that connects Purusha and Prakriti (Parvati). A power can be created only through the union of Shiva and Shakti. The primary prerequisite for equanimity is that there shouldn’t be any fear among them. Humans view one another as fellow beings. We look around us as if we are scared, like deer. Or pretend to be a lion and scare people. Philosophy is the study of other people’s perspectives. However, a vision born of fear that refuses to accept the other cannot be called Darshan. Darshan is a vision that is free of fear. One who looks at others with unadulterated eyes. Not in the sense of ‘is it mine or is it not mine.’ Philosophy is the vision of seeing things objectively. Brahma desired to control nature by instilling fear in it. Shiva, on the other hand, creates life. You should not expect anything in return. They do not want their commands to be carried out. That is why Shiva is known as Mahadev. Through sadhana, Parvati hopes to awaken compassion and equanimity in Shiva’s heart. All of these teach us that there should be no difference between males and females, they should be free from the sense of fear and no demanding nature.

See a woman’s beauty through the eyes of discernment.

Shiva Purana claims that when Parvati performs sadhana to become Shiva, Shiva keenly watches her. He realizes that Sati is actually Parvati. He believe that if he closes his eyes, She will be transformed into black and take on a fearsome aspect. If she keeps her eyes open, Gauri will continue to be stunning and graceful. On the basis of this, he wishes to convey the message that if nature is not viewed through the eyes of knowledge, it becomes frightening. When viewed with knowledge, she appears alert and beautiful. Shiva sees his Shankar (peaceful) form in Parvati’s mirror. Hence he concludes that man and women are the best creation of nature and they should be viewed with the eyes of knowledge and not on other parameters.
