The Johnny Depp, Amber Heard ordeal, although a defamation trial, has relinquished a tremendous amount of valuable information exposing the otherwise hidden truth about domestic violence between men and women. Not only is the general mindset that men are mostly the culprits denounced but the insidious sentiments that men can not even be heard, and that no one will believe them or care if they are heard, is revealed as well. The unconstitutional Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), with a government bound by extreme bias favoring women over men, has helped to effect this extreme injustice against men.
This publicized case brings to light what men’s equality advocates have been trying to expose for decades, with millions of innocent men represented by what had happened to Johnny Depp pertaining to them but without receiving justice. These innocent men were not only deprived justice, but they have been deemed the ones held accountable and further punished by charges and imprisoned due merely to being born male–men without the resources and clout that Johnny Depp has allowing him to break this barrier.
False allegations are also used as an affective means/tool for women as mothers gaining child custody ensuring they get more child support and in acquiring financial pay-offs no different than the false allegations of rape will produce due to the female’s sacred sexual status women have over men.
